The summer in Espírito Santo is traditionally filled with shows and events, and Espaço Patrick Ribeiro has the best attractions of the season. On January 20, Zé Ramalho, the phenomenon of Brazilian music since the 1970s, arrives in Vitória to sing his famous songs.
At 73 years old, Zé Ramalho offers the Espírito Santo audience a unique opportunity to sing along to his greatest hits in an unmissable show.
The "Show dos Sucessos" tour brings together the timeless phenomena from over 40 years of the career of the poet from Brejo do Cruz. In it, Zé Ramalho revisits songs like "Admirável Gado Novo", "Entre a Serpente e a Estrela" (well-known tracks from soap operas), "Avohai", "Frevo Mulher", "Chão de Giz", "Beira-Mar", "Eternas Ondas", "Garoto de Aluguel", "Vila do Sossego", and "Banquete de Signos". The show also features reinterpretations of Raul Seixas and the great hit "Sinônimo".
The restless and productive singer-songwriter is undoubtedly the most original character of the generation of musicians who emerged nationally in the 1970s. Zé Ramalho is also one of the artists most identified with Brazilian youth.
With his apocalyptic poetry and music, in the show, Zé Ramalho guides the audience on an inner journey through a mix of rhythms stemming from his musical influences, uniting elements of Northeastern culture (singers, improvisers, and fiddle players), Jovem Guarda (Roberto Carlos, Erasmo Carlos, Golden Boys, and Renato and his blue caps), the sound of The Beatles, and the rebelliousness of The Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd, Raul Seixas, and especially, Bob Dylan.
