To provide humane support, diagnose, and effectively treat cases of psychiatric urgency and emergency. This is the goal of AUBE Cuidados da Mente, a new clinic that will operate as a 24-hour emergency service in a location in Enseada do Suá, in Vitória.
AUBE means the first light of morning, and the name draws an analogy to the clinic's purpose, which aims to be the first light, the first step, the entry point for patients into psychiatric treatment. Quality care will be provided by a multidisciplinary team consisting of Psychiatrists, Psychologists, Social Workers, and Nurses.
Patients can seek care on a walk-in basis, as well as be received through medical referrals. As it operates as an emergency service, the length of hospitalization will be up to 72 hours. “We will provide care for both mild and severe cases, offering all necessary support,” explained psychiatrist Fábio Olmo, who is also the clinical director of AUBE.
