The Brazilian band with the longest career and owner of great hits in Brazilian music arrives on the stages of Espírito Santo in an acoustic version. On April 20, the eve of the Tiradentes holiday, Roupa Nova will perform at Espaço Patrick Ribeiro.
Entitled "Simplesmente Roupa Nova," the emotional show brings together hits like "Anjo," "Seguindo no Tem Azul," and the always festive "Whisky a Go-Go." In it, Cleberson Horsth, Kiko, Nando Ricardo Feghali, Serginho Hervale, and Fabio Nestares present to the audience an intimate and cozy version of the songs that have accompanied several generations.
The band is known for delivering shows that enchant and make people sing and dance all night long. The new tour has already traveled across Brazil with sold-out venues and also features other hits that were part of the soundtracks of soap operas like Roque Santeiro ("Dona"), A Viagem ("A Viagem"), Rainha da Sucata ("Coração Pirata"), and Renascer ("De Volta ao Começo"), creating moments of interaction and closeness with fans that have marked over 40 years of their career with so much affection.
Originally from Rio de Janeiro, Roupa Nova began its musical journey at the turn of the 1980s and has never stopped since. Recently, in December 2020, the group lost vocalist Paulinho, a victim of complications from Covid-19. Since then, Fabio Nestares, who was already singing with the band, has taken over the vocals.
