Located at Praia do Canto, Urban Arts establishes itself in one of the most upscale and bustling areas of Vitória. With over 10 years in the market, the new unit will be the brand's first physical gallery in Espírito Santo and the 31st in the country. The 70m² space, located at the corner of Rua Madeira de Freitas and Rua Eugênio Netto, will feature a curated selection of art and photography for exhibition made especially for the city's residents.
With a project developed by the office of São Paulo architect Luciano Dalla Marta, the store will be managed by entrepreneur Rachel Fernandes Medeiros. “I believe that Urban Arts will bring an unprecedented opportunity for Vitória to engage with art in a completely new, informal, and authentic way,” she states. The spacious area will showcase the versatility of Urban Arts' collection, with over 170,000 works signed by more than 6,000 artists — many of whom are from Espírito Santo.
For Rachel, the need to make spaces cozier is real. And art can contribute significantly in this regard, with sensitivity and personality. “The gallery also arrives at a time when people are even more interested in enhancing their residential environments through decoration. With everything that has happened, we have learned to look more inside our homes,” she adds.
