The long-awaited big day of the wedding currently comes in various trends, from the most classic to the most modern, mini weddings. Celebrations on the beach, in the countryside, in a church, in another city, in another country, the couple's imagination and wishes are the limit. One feeling has not changed: The bride's anxiety for the big day. “Even though the couple has support from family, those who hire event planners, party organizing companies, among others, still feel the bride's anxiety for her big moment,” explains integrative therapist Isabela Barcelos.
Isabela is responsible for a project that helps brides avoid emotional wear and tear. “I launched Acolher Noivas where I realized that the challenges of this life moment for women are profound,” explains the therapist. Isabela is also married and got engaged during the pandemic, and she realized even more that this was necessary.
Among the services that the therapist offers to brides are the analysis of the bride's emotional needs, the analysis of integrative health (mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual), the deepening of self-knowledge, and the importance of self-care during this period.
Within Acolher Noivas, we have the “Zen Method,” which includes integrative and complementary therapeutic techniques to be performed during the planning of the big day, aiming for the well-being and balance between the bride's body, mind, and emotions,” highlights Isabela.
