It is not new that technology and artificial intelligence have increasingly become part of everyone's lives. And why not in weddings? Technological innovations have invaded everything from ceremonies to parties.
Proof of this is the invitations themselves, which for some are sent online, gift lists created on websites with the couple's choices, service budgets, in addition to other factors that further enhance the realization of a dream.
We asked wedding planner Daieny Fasolo what cannot be missing in a wedding ceremony, and she said that the 360º booth and the drone are already part of the party. “The 360º booth where guests take photos or are filmed spinning and the drone that films the party from above with various exclusive takes are indispensable; the couple loves it,” she explains.
Creating hashtags for the couple before the party, LED lighting in the decoration and on the dance floor, which provides a futuristic feeling, are other technological factors. “We also have apps where the couple shares live moments for other relatives who could not be at the party to follow everything live; it's possible to create a specific page for that,” says Daieny.
For the partners at In-Color Lighting, André Luiz and Johnathan Bruno, technology goes hand in hand with the world of parties and, in their case, further enhances the settings: “Recently, we launched pendants and light bulbs in light colors with a very contemporary touch, and we are keeping an eye on some new technologies in the final testing phase. We have addressable LED strips that allow us total control autonomy in projects, not to mention the colors and brightness of this group,” says the businessman.
According to the BBC website, the technology sector in weddings is experiencing rapid growth, at 21% in one year. Smart rings, where the user monitors their heart rate, are already being used instead of traditional ones, for example.
For the wedding planner, this is a trend that is only expected to grow: “If today we have couples who met through dating apps, who maintain long-distance relationships through chat tools, it is only fair that technology is also used at the time of saying 'I do',” she points out.
