Capixaba startup opens point at Praia do Canto

On June 30th, at 6 PM, MeuChope.com will inaugurate a new operation at Posto Iate in Praia do Canto. The event starts at 6 PM with plenty of craft beer. At 7:30 PM, the band Samba Soul will perform the best of pop samba for the audience present. Admission is free.

“MeuChope.com arrives at Posto Iate reviving a nostalgic memory for a generation that frequented the place in the 90s and 2000s. The environment has always been a must-stop for those going to shows and events in Vitória,” explains Monique Barth, marketing at MeuChope. “Arriving at that space, where there are memories, in a new moment, inspires us a lot,” she emphasizes.

For Augusto Sato, COO of MeuChope, Posto Iate was a reference for entertainment in Greater Vitória. “For a long time, the place was a meeting point for friends. It was a space where people always gathered for happy hour, to warm up for the party,” he recalls.

According to the businessman, MeuChope will revitalize the space located at Praia do Canto. “Posto Iate has been inactive for years. It ended up abandoned for a long time. Our idea is to bring local craft breweries to sell their products directly to the end consumer,” he highlights. “With this, we also bring some operations of local gastronomy to the most well-known spot in Greater Vitória, located in the heart of the Triângulo,” concludes the startup's COO.

Posto Iate 40 years

For four decades, Posto Iate Shell Praia do Canto has been the hotspot for locals and the stage for iconic events. In 2022, the venue celebrates 40 years with the startup MeuChope.com reopening the space, reviving memories and narrating its own story.

“Posto Iate is celebrating 40 years in 2022. The place has history. It is very important for MeuChope to reinaugurate Posto Iate, as it is a place of memories. Starting June 30th, we will relive all of this,” recalls Anderson Basílio, who is in charge of the post. “It’s a joy! Everyone is invited to be part of this new Posto Iate,” reinforces Monique Barth.
