The Minas Gerais band, led by Samuel Rosa, will take the stage for the first time at the venue in Serra on November 2nd, Saturday, performing classics from nearly three decades of their career

The time is coming! On November 2nd, Saturday, Steffen Centro de Eventos in Serra will host a new edition of the all-inclusive night, combining the traditional buffet and open bar of the house with a nationally acclaimed attraction. It will be the turn of Samuel Rosa, Henrique Portugal, Lelo Zaneti, and Haroldo Ferretti from Skank to take the stage for the first time.

On this occasion, the quartet will present the show from the "Os Três Primeiros" tour, which features songs from the albums 'Skank', 'Calango', and 'O Samba Poconé'. The project, launched in 2018, is the result of the recording of a show held in November 2017 in Rio de Janeiro. Fans can expect hits like "Tanto", "Jackie Tequila", "Partida de Futebol", "Garota Nacional", "Tão Seu", "Pacato Cidadão", "Baixada News", "Sem Terra", "Eu Disse a Ela", and "Te ver". The opening of the party will be by Jackson Lima.

Skank: from BH to the world

Portugal, Denmark, Belgium, the United States, Switzerland, and France are some of the countries where the Minas Gerais band Skank, founded in 1991, has taken its sound. In Brazil, the band, composed of Samuel Rosa, Henrique Portugal, Lelo Zaneti, and Haroldo Ferretti, is a reference when it comes to national music.

The idea for the "Os Três Primeiros" project arose during the shows celebrating the 20th anniversary of 'Samba Poconé', stemming from requests for songs from the repertoire of the first two albums (Skank/1993 and Calango/1994). Additionally, in the 90s, the band did not have any live albums and always felt the lack of a recording of that sound.

The new single from the project, titled "Algo Parecido", debuted in the Top200 on Spotify and boosted the band's monthly listeners on the platform by 28%. On radio stations across the country, the track was the number one in the pop/rock segment. The music video has over 12 million views on YouTube.
