Shopping Jardins has joined the Pink October movement organized by the Female Association for Education and Breast Cancer Combat (AFECC), which gains more strength each year in this fight.
The shopping establishment's decision to participate in Pink October comes from the need to raise awareness among women and society that this is the disease that kills the most women worldwide and is the second leading cause of death among Brazilian women.
Throughout the month of October, Shopping Jardins will have special lighting on its business tower in pink. The stores Christalo, Bem Me Quero, Mar & Forma, and Cless have already started selling the campaign t-shirt for R$ 25.00 (twenty-five reais), which will be available until October 18, and all proceeds will be donated to the movement.
