The date reminds us of intimate relationships, individual health, and why not, plastic surgery. According to plastic surgeon Humberto Pinto, there is a high demand for surgeries in intimate areas. "Women seek us out a lot due to the effects of time," says the doctor.
According to the surgeon, sagging, skin falling over the clitoris, and enlargement of the labia majora are some of the main complaints from women seeking vaginal rejuvenation procedures. "In addition to the aesthetic effect, there is a drop in self-esteem that ends up affecting their sexual life," says the doctor.
The intimate rejuvenation surgery is performed through a small incision in the vaginal labia minora, removing excess tissue and improving asymmetry between them.
According to Humberto, various causes can make the vagina lose its natural architecture, leaving the muscles and vaginal tissues relaxed, stretched, or even enlarged, such as hormonal imbalances, diets, extreme sports, and natural childbirth. "The consumption of anabolic steroids can cause the clitoris to grow," says the doctor.
