In the fashion world, “quiet luxury” emerged last year to value quality without the ostentation of brands and prices. Based on this trend, a congress recently held in São Paulo, the Medical Advanced Aesthetic Congress (MAAC), introduced a new movement inspired by minimalistic fashion, called Quiet Beauty. The idea is to combat the trend that one must modify their face and show that natural beauty can be appreciated.
According to Dr. Renata Melo, it is a manifesto against the excesses of facial harmonization. “The idea is to raise awareness among patients to opt for treatments that prevent aging, but without exaggeration, and that these treatments be performed by qualified professionals,” she says.
Among the minimally invasive treatments, the doctor suggests the Ultraformer MPT, which acts on facial lifting, treats skin laxity, and specifically contours the face, reducing double chins. “In addition to this, we can also work with collagen biostimulants, which help improve skin firmness by stimulating collagen production; PDRN - (salmon DNA), which improves wrinkles with regenerative activity that promotes cellular remodeling; as well as various lasers that perform cellular renewal on the skin,” the doctor explains.
Renata emphasizes that the treatments prioritize naturalness - which is the trend today - where people want to undergo aesthetic treatments, but not with superficial results,” she notes.
