After summer and Carnival, another topic in the media spotlight is reality shows, and Big Brother Brasil is one of the most talked-about subjects. Among them, there is curiosity about how the participants will look when they leave the ‘house’ and gain fame! It’s trend, after all, there is always a comparison with the latest editions, regarding how the current celebrities have changed their appearance.
According to plastic surgeon Humberto Pinto, non-surgical facial rejuvenation has become a trend that only grows each year. “It’s simpler compared to other procedures we perform, and with quick and satisfactory results,” he explains.
Data from the Brazilian Society of Plastic Surgery (SBCP) shows that between 2014 and 2019, the number of facial procedures grew from 72,000 to 256,000 per year. A survey by the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ISAPS) indicates that between 2016 and 2020, non-surgical facial rejuvenation involves a combination of aesthetic procedures, such as fillers, botulinum toxin, rhinoplasty, and blepharoplasty, aimed at improving facial appearance in a balanced way.
“The current trend is the search for a more balanced, natural, and harmonious appearance, without neglecting the lifting effect that gives a ‘boost’ to the face, but with more naturalness,” explains Humberto. In addition to women, men have also been seeking the procedure, giving a more youthful aspect to their faces.
As it is a minimally invasive procedure, it is recommended to be performed by plastic surgeons, who will assess each patient’s facial anatomy and can provide all the support with safety and precision. “We have the ability to minimize risks and access to adequate and safe medical facilities,” says the doctor.
