Easter at Cakes & Bakes Family

Easter 2021 will be well-filled and sweet, thanks to Cakes & Bakes Family, a bakery led by nutritionist and pastry chef Renata Póvoa.

Among the delights for this special date, Easter eggs are always the star, and the options are varied. Spoon eggs, chicken eggs (chocolate) and eggs with filled shells will cater to all tastes. In addition to them, kids' kits and cupcakes are other ways to indulge.

Among the Easter Eggs, desired by many, the spoon eggs have options for choosing the flavors of the shell and the fillings. The shells can be Milk; White; Semi-sweet and Oreo. The fillings include Carrot cake with brigadeiro; chocolate cake with white and dark brigadeiro; Nutella and Leite Ninho. The sizes can be 500g (R$ 80.00) and 250g (R$ 60.00).

The Filled Shell Egg is mouth-watering; they are made with a filled shell with options of chocolate ganache with praline and nuts, Nutella and Ninho, and the flavors of the shells can also be chosen among milk chocolate; white; semi-sweet or Oreo. The price ranges from R$ 70.00 (250g) to R$ 90.00 (500g).

For those who want to diversify a bit and opt for smaller treats, so as not to let the date go by unnoticed, they can choose the chicken eggs. "Chicken eggs always spark curiosity because they are packaged in a half-dozen egg box," says Renata. "We let creativity speak louder and produced standard chicken eggs, but made of chocolate; everyone loves it," highlights Renata.

The chicken eggs are standardized and come in two flavor options each – Oreo; white chocolate and milk chocolate. They weigh 60g each and the box costs R$ 60.00.

The Kids Kit was created for children with eggs in a smaller format, weighing 250g each. The shell can be chosen between milk chocolate and white chocolate and three filling options (white brigadeiro, black brigadeiro, and sprinkles) and costs R$ 70.00. The Cupcake is sold individually, made with carrot or chocolate batter with brigadeiro topping and costs R$ 15.00.

Given the moment we are going through, Renata emphasizes that it is important to have hope at this time and had the idea for customers to send along with the treat, a special message: "Customers just need to let us know and we will send it along as a gesture of affection for so many family members and friends who are far away."
