Married, with children, and aged between 37 and 56 years. This is the profile of those looking to buy a property during the pandemic, according to a survey conducted by the portals ZAP and Viva Real. The survey was conducted in the capitals and metropolitan regions of Brazil in June 2020.
The data shows that those interested in buying a property believe this is a good opportunity. Of the total, 60% answered YES to the question: is this the best time to buy a property? When asked why, 19% said that prices are good and 13% consider interest rates low.
The luxury real estate consultant, Letícia Rody (photo), explained that the perception of the respondents is linked to the moment. “Interest rates are historically low in the financial system. So, yes, this is the time to take advantage of investing in real estate,” she said.
In general, those showing this interest in buying are married (65%), have children (64%), on average two; are aged between 37 to 56 years (56%) and have an income above ten minimum wages (36%). Regarding gender, 50% are men and 50% are women.
