The beauty is being natural

In the beauty universe, nails are a highlight, and every season brings new trends and innovations for them. Nail art has never been so popular, and the work done on nails is true artwork.

There are so many options that sometimes women are in doubt when choosing the best method: gel nails, fiberglass nails, traditional methods, nail polish, etc. Nail designer Tamires Gonçalves says she values the naturalness of nails. “My specialty is fiberglass nails, and I use a calcium shield that prioritizes naturalness in the procedure. The nails are the size that the client wants, and even so, the durability is not affected, averaging around a month for maintenance, and the nails remain strong, well cared for, and beautiful,” highlights Tamires.

Natural is in vogue! Before the pandemic, research already indicated that the global organic personal care market would reach $25.11 billion by 2025. “With the pandemic we went through, natural has resurfaced with more strength; women embraced their curly hair, people cooked more, and women learned to do their nails at home,” says Tamires. “And now with the new normal, they have returned to seek salons and nail designer studios to take care of their beauty and health,” she emphasizes. Nails reflect a lot of each person's personality, and each client chooses the shape and color they want to use. “I have clients who like shorter nails, others prefer longer ones, lighter polishes, darker ones, designs; we cater to their desires and prioritize the technique to execute it correctly so as not to harm the natural nail,” Tamires explains.

For Tamires, the ideal is to invest in what makes you feel good. “The modern woman doesn’t want to waste time. She manages home, work, marriage, and still takes care of herself, so she is always looking for a method that is safe and meets her vanity,” Tamires states. “With this issue of ‘saving time,’ I developed a quick method, where in just one hour the nails are ready, following the standards of strength, durability, and natural finish as the client desires,” she explains.
