New Carnival Court of Vitória 2023

The contest to choose the new Royal Family of the Carnival of Vitória 2023 announced its results on November 26, at the Quadra of (Mocidade Unida da Glória) MUG, in Vila Velha. Charm, samba in the feet, joy, and carnival spirit were some of the requirements to take the title to the capixaba Carnival Court. With over 28 entries, the competitors had the endorsement of each samba school for the position.

Among the categories, King Momo, Queen, Trans Queen, First and Second Princess were elected. The winners were Dyonata Lucas from Mocidade Unida da Glória (MUG) for King Momo; Pamela Silva from Boa Vista for Queen; Duda Silva from Tradição Serrana for Trans Queen; Ana Clara Bona from Mocidade Unida da Glória (MUG) for First Princess; and Sabriny Santos from Novo Império for Second Princess.

The marketing director of the Independent League of Samba Schools of the Special Group – ES LIESGE, Patrick Rocha, said that the event was a success. “The MUG quadra was packed, the event was well attended, and it only shows the strength of our capixaba carnival, demonstrating the beautiful party we will have next year,” he highlights.

The “Royal Family” participates in mandatory activities such as attending the rehearsals of the Samba Schools indicated by the League, Technical Rehearsals, and the opening of the Carnival, among others.

The Carnival of Vitória takes place on February 10, 11, and 12, 2023, at Sambão do Povo.
