The "NAPALMA feat. Fábio Carvalho & Guests" will bring together artists from the music scene in Espírito Santo such as Fábio Carvalho, André Prando, Larissa Pacheco, and Cid Travaglia, who resides in Berlin, at Canto da Praia, on Camburi Beach.
The sound of drums, trumpets, and electronic beats will echo at Camburi Beach, with the event "NAPALMA feat. Fábio Carvalho & Guests," marking the end of the Brazilian leg of the tour that started in Europe in June and has already passed through several countries. The result of this network of international musical connections will be the farewell show next Thursday (23), at 8 PM, at Canto da Praia (kiosk 14), on Camburi Beach.
Based in Berlin and conceived by the co-producer of the electronic program, percussionist, and curator, Cid Travaglia, the project brings together a network of different vocalists and musicians in concerts and studio sessions, maintaining the multicultural identity and energy of the dance floors.
With an eclectic lineup, the project features Fábio Carvalho (former Manimal), singer André Prando, singer Larissa Pacheco (Big Bat Blues Band), music producer Marcel Dadalto (She Knows and Zémaria), co-founder and former member of NAPALMA, Rafael Jabah (percussion), and Aurenir ‘Java’ Dias (trumpet and percussion).

About the project
Started in the capital of Espírito Santo in 2004, NAPALMA has opened borders through adventures and experiences in over 30 countries. The latest music video, for the song 'Gëstou', captured the snowstorm that covered Berlin in February 2021. Parks, canals, lakes, and forests are transformed into a magical land, with the population experiencing the enchantment of winter and even dancing on ice.
Among the highlights of the project's recent releases are the music videos for 'Sunu Warëf', filmed in the Amazon Rainforest, and 'Urban Art Tribute', shot in 12 countries, gaining traction in the film festival circuit, winning 'Best Music Video' at the SIFF - Swedish International Film Festival, and being selected for festivals in New York, Los Angeles, Paris, and Canada.
The NAPALMA tour began in June and has already passed through Italy, Lithuania, Spain, Portugal, South Africa, and Denmark. In Brazil, the tour started in late January in Búzios, Rio de Janeiro, Vitória, Vila Velha, and Cachoeiro de Itapemirim, in tribute to the 120th anniversary of the Fábrica de Pios Mauricio Coelho, as well as a tour conducted with the Orquestra Voadora during Carnival.
About the artists
Fábio Carvalho
Known for his participation in the band Manimal in the 1990s, he ventured into Congo and other genres, primarily rock. This deep connection with popular culture is evident in the album "Quintal," where the musician pays homage to candomblé and rhythms such as Samba, Caxambu, Ciranda, and the previously mentioned Congo and Ticumbi, as well as in the EP "Solte os Cabelos."
André Prando
A reference in the music scene of Espírito Santo, gradually gaining space in the national independent scene. With a visceral voice and performance, he sings his compositions that stimulate critical thinking and resonate easily with listeners. With over 10 years of career, Prando has released 2 EPs, 2 albums, and 2 live records that can be identified as MPB, in the broad sense of the genre, or in the more experimental and wandering allowance of the acronym: Brazilian Psychedelic Music.
Larissa Pacheco
An eclectic singer, Larissa Pacheco began singing in the Choir of the Federal University of Espírito Santo (Ufes) and from 2009, started performing with rock, soul, and blues bands, both as a permanent member and in special appearances. In 2012, she became a member of the Big Bat Blues Band, where she also contributes to the compositions. Pacheco sings her newest projects, started in 2022, in a band called Cachorro Caramelo, performing Brazilian music in blues versions, with her own arrangements.
Marcel Dadalto
Musician, music producer, and sound designer, Marcel Dadalto started in music in the early 90s, playing guitar and writing songs for the iconic Brazilian hardcore band Dead Fish, co-founder of the legendary Sala 11, and his musical projects Zémaria (Vitória) and She Knows (Berlin). Currently, he works as a freelance music producer, collaborating with NAPALMA and producing records for other artists and soundtracks for TV and short films.
DJ Carol Vargas
Co-founder of DISCOTOPIA, an electronic music event focused on melodic timbres and futuristic sounds, a pioneer in Vitória. The DJ's research encompasses avant-garde music with strong references to the classics of Disco and House Music.
DJ TCo
With 25 years in the local alternative music scene, DJ TCo has participated in the line-ups of Wave, Pindorama, Mula Black, Discotopia, and Venus Warm Up, and will open the night with organic and danceable sounds.
