Summer has arrived, and the trend of fit bodies at beaches and parties is evident, especially with the approach of Carnival. According to a survey by Google Trends at the end of last year, Brazil is the country with the highest interest in searches for liposuction in the world since the beginning of the historical series in 2004. Among the most recent searches, there has been an increase in the demand for Lipo LAD.
Plastic surgeon Humberto Pinto, a member of the Brazilian Society of Plastic Surgery (SBCP), explains that the demand is high because Lipo LAD not only removes fat but is also a surgical technique in which the doctor sculpts the patient's abdomen. “We create a true work of art, as we enhance the muscular contours,” says the doctor.
The surgery is sought after by both men and women, due to the increased need to showcase more sculpted bodies at this time of year. “There are many influencers and celebrities showing off ‘six-pack’ abs, as they are popularly called,” explains the plastic surgeon.
According to the doctor, for effective results, it is necessary to combine exercise with a healthy diet.
