Ddaniela Aguilar and Brenda Aguilar will present "Noir et Doré", an authorial brand of slow design and upcycling concept, on September 20th at 4 PM. The artists and designers Ddaniela Aguilar and Brenda Aguilar will showcase the launch of the authorial brand "Noir et Doré", of slow design and upcycling concept, at Bazzar, owned by Angelina Côrtes, on September 20th at 4 PM. The event is aimed at architects, designers, and store clients. The exhibition will be open to the public until September 27th. After the exhibition, sales will be conducted online at @studionoiretdore. Approximately 30 pieces will be presented at the launch, including trays, swings, candle holders, incense burners, bar carts, and lamps, representing a selection from the Azur, Cristal, and Viver Series. Noir et Doré is a brand that embraces the principles of slow design and upcycling, movements that celebrate the beauty of imperfections and validate infinite possibilities. As a symbolic representation, the objects are named after stars, planets, and constellations. The series are simultaneous and timeless, sharing a common respect for the timing of things, the uniqueness of finds, and the appreciation of the subtle and intuitive. The Azur Series embodies the coziness of a home in the Capixaba Mountains. The Cristal Series is a meeting with ancestral roots, and the Viver Series offers a perspective on well-being. For the development of the Series, pieces from auctions and junkyards, reclaimed wood, cement tiles, and elements that carry stories and evoke emotions are used. The cousins share not only the surname, which means "eagle", inherited from their paternal grandmother Maria Aguilar, but also many tastes and desires, such as transforming discarded finds into unique objects that light up their eyes. Ddaniela, a visual artist, has always explored numerous creative possibilities through the appropriation and re-signification of discarded materials, even from "junkyards", and has managed to pass on this emotion to her cousin. Brenda has a passion for auctions and antique shops, finding unusual objects with rich histories. She has three young children and believes in the power of play, the importance of reclaiming childhood outdoors, and cherishing moments lived by families in meaningful and affectionate environments. A true invitation to connections and dreamed universes. The studio/atelier, where the design objects of "Noir et Doré" are developed, is part of the Khas project, a creative tourism space that involves art, coffee, and lavender in the Pedra Azul/Capixaba Mountains region. About Ddaniela Aguilar The artist from Minas Gerais is a visual artist with a background in Fine Arts and Fashion, and a specialization in textile design, children's book illustration, and art and social action. She has always combined her artistic process, which transitions between art and design, with socio-sustainable issues, aiming to raise awareness about the reduction and reuse of post-consumer materials. Brenda Aguilar From Capixaba and an art collector with a law degree, she has lived in various places and has always sought out antique objects wherever she goes. In design, she finds a way to propose a new perspective on the materials she encounters, valuing meanings and emotional memories.
