Social isolation, determined by health authorities due to the pandemic caused by the new coronavirus (Covid-19), has increased the number of people working from home. Consequently, the preparation of an appropriate space for a home office during this period is also growing. In addition to functionality, many people are also concerned that the decor of this environment is connected with the home.
The sales consultant from Móveis Conquista, Adriana Lovatto, warns that when choosing, one should pay attention to the lighting of the location and also the measurements for placing a desk and a chair to prepare the space to maximize productivity. “Just arrange the furniture in strategic locations to create an environment that reflects your style. It can be with a more neutral look, with white items for a more traditional feel, or using wood, for example, to give a more natural tone,” she points out.
According to the specialist, it is important to pay attention to comfort, opting for furniture with a design that allows for hours of sitting without causing injuries. “Any little corner can become a home office, as long as you have the right furniture. If the space is small, it's worth investing in drawers in the desk and various shelves for greater functionality,” she suggests.
