To celebrate Mother's Day, the Alzir Bernardino Alves Children's Hospital and Maternity (Himaba) will offer a moment of care for mothers and companions. Next Saturday (17), from 9 am to 12 pm, free massage sessions will be offered in the institution's small square.
The activity will be conducted by students from the Massage Therapy course at the Grau Técnico Cariacica school, under the supervision of instructor Gerlia Costa, and is part of the institution's pedagogical practice. “We want to provide a moment of physical and emotional well-being, especially for mothers who face the hospital routine with strength and dedication,” explains Gerlia.
In addition to benefiting the public, the action also contributes to the practical development of future massage professionals, bringing them closer to the job market and the real needs of people.
