Gusttavo Lima to Perform in Colatina in April

The singer Gusttavo Lima will hold a major show in Colatina on April 3, 2020. The event will be a great moment for the region, which is facing several difficulties due to the rains that occurred during the summer.

A show like this, which attracts thousands of people from nearby cities and even from other states, greatly contributes to the local economy. Everyone benefits from the large influx of visitors, including pharmacies, hotels, inns, grocery stores, supermarkets, and indeed all local commerce. Not to mention the number of temporary jobs, both direct and indirect, for the residents of the region.

The Singer Gusttavo Lima

Success Arrived in 2010

Nivaldo Batista Lima, or simply Gusttavo Lima, the stage name he adopted when he was part of the duo Gusttavo and Alessandro, recorded his first CD and DVD "Inventor dos Amores" in 2010, featuring 22 songs, of which 16 are original compositions. Produced by Pinócchio, the work gained prominence among fans of sertanejo music due to the success of songs like: Caso Consumado; Revelação; Rosas, Versos e Vinhos; Cor de Ouro and, mainly, Inventor dos Amores, which brought his name to the entire Brazil. The album was filled with special guest appearances, such as the duo Jorge & Mateus on the song "Inventor dos Amores", Maria Cecília & Rodolfo on "Te Quero Sim", Guilherme & Santiago on "Larguei de Ser Besta" and Edson, from the duo Edson & Hudson, on the track "Super Homem".

The artist, who has been part of the Som Livre roster since his first album, quickly became a hit on the country's radio stations with his romantic, upbeat, and contagious songs, becoming one of the main names in the Brazilian music scene.

The Origin

Singer, musician, and songwriter. This is the definition of the sertanejo artist Gusttavo Lima. The self-taught musician from Presidente Olegário/MG, who plays guitar, viola, electric guitar, drums, bass, and accordion, entered the music market with notoriety: the Minas Gerais native is responsible for giving tone to various sertanejo songs that are successful on charts across the country.

With a surprising debut, the young artist takes pride in his journey as a musician. Gusttavo, who sang in the Folia de Reis with his father, left home at the age of nine to pursue his career alongside his brothers with whom he formed a band. The artist, who also formed a sertanejo duo with a friend, began his solo career at 18. Today, he carries in his repertoire over 150 original compositions.

Preserving his origins and simple roots, Gusttavo Lima continues with the experience of someone who masters the art of composing, playing, and singing, increasingly conquering his space, always with a lot of charisma and his humble way of being.
