Group maintains growth with integrated pharmacies across the country
The pharmaceutical market is thriving, that's a fact! With the pandemic, sales of medicines to prevent and treat Coronavirus increased. With the demand, the market remains heated and companies are taking the lead. Farmacro – founded in 2014 – which operates as a brand and service manager for licensed pharmacies across the country, has been growing and making expansion plans.
Its innovative work has a strategy called “ABC”. The group operates outside the franchise system and uses this format as a rule for the benefit of the pharmacies that are part of the group: “A stands for support to pharmacies; B for strong brand and C for commercial,” explains the group’s CEO, Aníbal Neri.
Among the objectives is to shorten and simplify the path between the store and supplier. “We present something new to the market, a portfolio of exclusive products, a range of possibilities in store management and sales, in addition to marketing support, sanitary advice, our support variety is immense,” says the businessman.
With over 358 stores in 17 states, the group’s growth is due to the trust that pharmacies have in the support and advice received, agreements with the industry that serves the pharmaceutical network, in addition to the novelty created in 2020, the Comparte Farma platform.
Comparte Farma is an app where Farmacro pharmacies have all the management support services and can also share their businesses. “We offer online consulting services, legal, regulatory, and pharmaceutical advice, Medication Benefit Programs (PBMs), and cashback on their purchases, all these services controlled via an exclusive app,” explains Support Director Douglas Spanghero. “The businessman is free to choose the type of service he needs and is not tied to a business model like franchises, for example,” highlights Spanghero.
One of the highlights is the Preço Baixo pharmacy network, which has just ranked among the 20 most remembered brands in the country in a survey by CVA Solutions conducted this year. In addition, Farmavocê is another successful outcome, where the owner of independent pharmacies can elevate their level of competition. “This new brand promises to make life easier for consumers and small pharmacy owners with an accessible business model, without an enrollment fee, among other benefits,” says CEO Aníbal Neri.
