To adapt to new work systems, large companies are also changing the way they work
The search for flexible and creative spaces by large corporations has been driving growth in the coworking sector. A survey conducted by the International Workplace Group (IWG) revealed a 93% increase in the search for collective workspaces in 2022. Erik Lorenzon, entrepreneur and founder of NaCapital Coworking, emphasizes that this search has intensified due to a market that undergoes restorations daily, regardless of its segment.
In Espírito Santo, well-known companies in the national market, such as XP, Porto Seguro, Capemisa, MedSenior, Nazca, and Suzano, have already opted for shared spaces. According to Erik, this migration to coworking is linked to the ease of hiring and also offers a comfortable, creative, and suitable place for work.
"Coworking can be used by any business or venture that wants to share resources and experiences within an integrated and organic ecosystem. The arrival of large companies was driven by the crisis caused by the pandemic that affected both small and large businesses. In light of this, large corporations began to view office costs differently."
The investment of these companies in coworking spaces is related to modernity, innovation, and interaction. In these modern offices, networking among people is typically fostered. "These shared spaces have an environment that stimulates collaboration among different people. Even representing different corporations, professionals always engage in some exchange in common areas, such as events, lectures, workshops, and happy hours," comments Erik.
Coworking spaces have grown and in recent years have gained more and more users. With increasingly collaborative work routines, these environments make it clear that they are not just a fad, and the trend is to become more appealing each year.
