Amid the pandemic caused by the new coronavirus (Covid-19), various sectors are adapting to a new reality. In line with this, the Government of the State of Espírito Santo is hosting, for the first time, a fully digital auction – organized by auctioneer Pietrangello – offering vehicles and unusable assets owned by the government. Bids can be placed until June 20, on the website www.pietrangello.com.br.
Individuals and legal entities can participate in the auction, except for relatives of the auctioneer and the Auction Committee. Official Public Auctioneer, Pietrangello, explains that since the auction will be conducted entirely digitally, the platform features Blockchain registration, an innovation in the online auction market in Brazil. “This is another technology we are using to provide more security to our platform and, consequently, ensure our clients more peace of mind when placing their bids,” he states.
There will be 189 lots offered, including 93 vehicles, 18 motorcycles, one bus, and one truck, in addition to 76 lots of movable assets. With bids starting at R$50.00, the State Government expects to raise around R$1 million for public coffers. Interested parties can visit the movable assets and vehicles offered between June 8 and June 19, from 9 AM to 3 PM, at the location where the items are located. No appointment is necessary, but the use of masks is mandatory.

The technology used in this electronic auction is the Auction Blockchain Network. The same as the Marketplace Beedz and Bom Valor, which has among its founders the same creator of Superbid, Ronaldo Sodré Santoro.
