Formemus, taking place from May 18 to 21, 2022, has announced the results of the National Call for Showcase. There were 220 applicants from 23 Brazilian states and 9 selected artists. Initially, the production informed that there would be 8 selected, however, the curation decided to award one more.
The artists will perform on the event's stage from May 19 to 21, free of charge, for the general public, as well as for entrepreneurs, festival curators, industry players, and producers from all over Brazil.
The following artists were selected for the Showcase: 2DE1 (SP), Azzula (MG), Black Pantera (MG), Dan Abranches (ES), Jesus Lumma (SC), Pacha Ana (MT), Pretaô (ES), Suindara (ES), and Vitrolab (BA). Two more spots will be defined during the Musical Pitching, which takes place on May 18, exclusively for artists from Espírito Santo.
The Formemus showcases are a showcase for the new musical production of the country. The curation seeks to identify new artistic movements, languages, and musical trends for the national and international market.
For the return of its in-person edition, Formemus returns to the center of Vitória, from May 18 to 21, 2022, free of charge, and registrations are already open. Formemus will bring together the biggest names in the national music market and an audience interested in the current music scene, with a special vision for the future and all the possibilities for the artistic careers of the participants.

A music conference that brings together lectures, workshops, panels, photographic and video clip exhibitions, Conexão Periferia & Interior, discussing relevant market themes and the constant transformations of the musical scene in the state, Brazil, and the world.
In its fourth edition, Formemus has been taking place since 2018 and has been growing every year. Winner of the 2021 Music Professionals Award in the category of Music Fairs and Conferences, awarded in the Funarte Festival Award in 2020 and 2021, in 2019 Formemus made it to the list of the 80 main music fairs in the world. These awards show that Espírito Santo is on the radar of the national music scene.
