The debut of the Ford Territory was a great success, with exposure across various digital channels. The videos about the Territory on Ford's YouTube channel have accumulated over 6.3 million views (https://www.youtube.com/user/fordbrasil/videos).
“The most talked-about strengths of the Territory were its interior space, comfort, connectivity, and technology. The finish, equipment, and mechanics positioned the vehicle as a high-category mid-size SUV,” said Apolo Figueiredo Rizk, Director of Contauto, a Ford dealer in the state.
The Ford Territory is the new benchmark when it comes to technology, both in terms of connectivity and onboard technology. The state-of-the-art SYNC Touch multimedia system is one of its main highlights. Harmoniously integrated into the sophisticated interior, which features wood-like finishes, premium upholstery seats, and LED ambient lighting, its software was specially developed for the model sold in South America.
The 10.1-inch touchscreen responds with excellent speed and precision to commands. Additionally, its use is very intuitive, with menus that lead directly to the desired command. See in the video below how easy it is to understand and use.
The instrument panel is also 100% digital and has three display modes: classic, which is a traditional model; sport, with a dynamic view featuring 3D effects; and fashion, aimed at a more stylish audience.
Apolo also mentioned that the Territory offers several exclusive features, such as access to information and functionalities remotely, through the FordPass Connect system. Through the FordPass app, it is also possible to check the fuel level and estimate range, as well as verify if the tire pressure is in order.
It is also possible to start the engine remotely and activate and adjust the air conditioning – on those days when the temperature drastically rises or drops, you can prepare the cabin and set it to the ideal temperature for when you enter the vehicle.
The FordPass app also allows you to lock and unlock the doors, receive alerts for alarm activation, schedule maintenance and services at dealerships, and, if necessary, request roadside assistance. Through it, you can also locate a parking lot, gas station, and points of interest, such as shopping malls and restaurants. Each vehicle allows the registration of up to five accounts and issues an alert on the primary driver's smartphone if the vehicle experiences any failure or if they wish to know its real-time location.
