Networking, or the building and maintenance of a professional contact network, is extremely important in various fields and stages of a career. However, networking is not limited to professional relationships. Conferences, for example, are great places to meet people with similar interests and share experiences, as it is possible to make friendships, exchange ideas, and learn from the experiences of others.
With this in mind, Erick Miranda, General Director of Florescer Kids +, a clinic specialized in neurorehabilitation and medicine for children and adolescents (both typical and atypical), located in Vila Velha, in addition to participating in groups such as NP networking, was recently in São Paulo attending the 2nd National Congress of Multidisciplinary Clinics, an event of great importance for health professionals.
According to Erick, participating in the event was an excellent opportunity to enhance his knowledge, share experiences, and contribute to the advancement of this practice that aims to provide quality and effective care.
"Given the current scenario of health, which is constantly evolving and with increasingly complex demands, the multidisciplinary approach has become essential for the comprehensive care of the individual, as it is based on the integration of different health professionals, such as doctors, nurses, physiotherapists, psychologists, nutritionists, among others, working together to offer more complete and holistic assistance. Our care model seeks to consider not only the physical aspects but also the emotional, social, and psychological aspects of the individual. At Florescer, for example, about 40 professionals are involved in the care," he commented.
"In addition, the event provided a unique opportunity for knowledge exchange among participants from different areas and regions of the country, enabling the broadening of horizons and the creation of collaborative partnerships," he said.
