To start warming up the spirits for Carnival, the Baile Voador Festival held an exclusive photo shoot at Studio Base 40 in Vitória. The clicks are by photographer Victor de Prá.
The theme for the next edition, "I live in a surreal country," set the tone for the shoot, with post-production work influenced by what the festival calls 'tropical surrealism': a psychedelic explosion of colors and attitude, very much in line with Brazilian Carnival. The shoot was also done in partnership with Birita, a long-time partner of the event.
With a return scheduled for Carnival 2022, the ball has grown, and now it is a festival. The event will take place in the green area of Clube Álvares Cabral on February 25 and 26, with a lineup that already includes Bloco Sargento Pimenta and BaianaSystem.
Additionally, to further enhance the value of local artistic production, the Voador Edital was launched, which will select artists, bands, and blocks to compose the lineup of attractions, as well as receive a cash prize. Complete information can be found on the festival's website.
