Recently, the headquarters of Sindpaes, in Novo México, Vila Velha, was the setting for the "6th Masonic Feijoada," organized by ARLS Acácia da Barra. The event featured the delicious feijoada prepared by Buffet Demuner and was enlivened by the pagode group Moleque 027, with a special highlight: the vibrant participation of the bateria from Mocidade Unida da Glória (MUG). Approximately 500 people attended the party, which also offered children's entertainment and a raffle. Part of the proceeds will be donated to Creche da Tia Lora, an institution that serves children from Barra do Jucu.Leandro Mourão, venerable of the Masonic Lodge Acácia da Barra and the creator of the feijoada, expressed his satisfaction with the success of the event. "The project started as an idea among friends, initially planned for 120 people, and today we welcomed 500. I believe this is the largest event of its kind in Espírito Santo. The purpose has always been clear: to help and do good for others," said Mourão.
Valdir Massucatti, Grand Master of the Grand Masonic Lodge, highlighted the importance of masonry in promoting personal growth and social well-being. "A mason is trained to be a person who does good every day. This is the essence of the masonic school. By becoming a better person, the mason directly contributes to society," he stated. He also emphasized the role of masonic lodges in supporting and providing services to the communities they are part of."
"Masonry is an entity that values respect, patriotism, fraternity, and family, which are the pillars of a strong society. Furthermore, it is always engaged in social projects to help those in need. It is an honor to be alongside good people, like our masonic brothers," declared the mayor of Vila Velha, Arnaldinho Borgo, who was present for the second consecutive time at the event.
