Eyelash extensions are one of those technologies that are here to stay and that many love. “First, because there are currently several styles of eyelashes to suit each one, and second, depending on the choice, some don’t even need to use mascara anymore,” says eyelash extension specialist Karolina Braun, a pioneer in the technique in Espírito Santo who has been working in the field for 11 years.
The technique known as strand-by-strand places new strands on the existing eyelashes. “Among them, there are types: Russian volume, which provides extra and striking volume, darker effects; Brazilian volume, which allows us to achieve volume more quickly; hybrid, which gives a look with a moderate amount of strands; and Fluffy, which is more delicate,” explains the specialist.
Karolina also mentions a technique where she does not use strands, only curling the existing eyelashes. “We nourish, align, and strengthen the natural strands,” she emphasizes. For the end-of-year parties, Karolina highlights that techniques with more volume and glamour are the most sought after. “The mascara effect eyelashes are also highly requested, as they look like you’re always wearing mascara, and they look super natural,” she points out.
