Exhibition brings together around 200 pieces and rare works

Beauty, rarity, stories in works signed by masters of classical and contemporary arts, dated between the 19th century and the 1950s, are part of the collection of the free exhibition that takes place from March 9 to 13 at Empório das Artes, in Praia Shopping, in Vitória. According to the art dealer Lélio Cimini, the public will have access to 200 pieces, including sculptures, furniture, silverware, porcelain, and paintings by renowned artists, in a collection worth over R$ 250 thousand in exclusive pieces, with bids starting at up to 40% off. Among the works that deserve special mention are paintings by local artists Attilio Colnago, Homero Massena, and Levino Fanzeres. Works like Crepúsculo, dated from the 1930s and signed by Fanzeres, are highlights of the auction. Another work that is always highly sought after by art lovers is by Homero Massena, increasingly rare and valued. In this event, he will be represented by the works Pescadores da Barra do Jucu and Lavadeiras do Rio Jucu, from the 1950s. A serigraph from the 1980s by master Alfredo Volpi, featuring the famous flags that marked the artist's work, is among the works to be appreciated. Among the sculptures, a piece by Oscar Niemeyer, made of bronze with automotive paint, and a 19th-century alabaster titled Crianças com Guarda-Chuva stand out. Another work that promises fierce competition is a drawing of a furniture project by Joaquim Tenreiro, also from the 1950s, and sacred art, which is also highly sought after at auctions. This edition features an image of Nossa Senhora da Conceição and Santa Bárbara, both from the 19th century, in the best style of Baroque art. The furniture is a standout in this auction. Pieces like an Art Nouveau display cabinet, a wooden table with a wrought iron base, and a typical English presentation table join the 1960s style of the Gelli canoe model chair.
