In honor of women, Nazca, through the Singular project, is hosting an exclusive event at the Matias Brotas Gallery, in Mata da Praia, next Thursday, March 20. The gathering, a brunch with some guests, will offer a special preview of the exhibition Cronotopias, by renowned artist Suzana Queiroga.
About the Artist
Suzana Queiroga, active since the 1980s, works with various artistic media, exploring themes such as flow, time, and infinity. Her works, presented internationally and awarded in Brazil and Portugal, include paintings, sculptures, installations, and videos. The CRONOTOPIAS exhibition, which began in 2018, invites navigation between time and space, mixing physical and abstract territories. Queiroga addresses the interconnection between the human body and the city, critiquing colonialism and urban dehumanization. Her works reflect a continuous aesthetic research, connected to personal memories and social issues. She proposes a reflection on the desautomatization of conventions and the revelation of the habitual, encouraging a revolution of dreams.
