December has arrived, bringing the year-end festivities that will be celebrated this year with much love and affection among family members. Empório Joaquim has prepared several exquisite recipes for this special time, as well as Christmas Baskets and Gift Boxes, all tailored to the taste and request of the customer.
“Our Christmas baskets can be prepared by us or customized with selected products from the bistro, and they are available for immediate delivery, whether for personal or corporate orders,” explains chef Patrícia Santos Neves. “Among the suggestions, we offer sparkling wines, jams, cookies, chocolates, and even items from the artisanal bakery and charcuterie; the customer just needs to decide,” she explains. “As for the gift boxes, they were created in various sizes, in a limited edition. In them, we select products such as wines, spirits, jams, oils, among others, and they are a great gift option for those who enjoy delicacies on this occasion,” highlights Patrícia.
The order menu was crafted following the Empório's standard and includes appetizers to main dishes. “Among the highlights, we have cold appetizers like house-sliced gravlax salmon, as well as hot appetizers like the Parma Croqueta,” explains Patrícia.
The main dishes were created with noble and varied ingredients. “Among the options is the Roast Beef, which contains tenderloin, seasoned, toasted on the outside and almost raw on the inside, which can be lightly roasted when taken home,” she explains. In addition to the meat, seafood has its place, and among the options, the Lobster Mayonnaise and the Shrimp Mayonnaise with Sweet Potato and Wasabi bring freshness to the special night or Christmas lunch,” she emphasizes. Among the side dishes, the Lentil Rice with toasted onion and the Italian Farofa cannot be missed. "Our farofa is made with Italian bread and pistachios, in a combination that surprises,” asserts the chef.
During Christmas, desserts are a must, and Empório Joaquim's options cater to all tastes. Among the house suggestions are the famous Banana Pudding, Belgian Chocolate Pie, Grandma's Pie, Cinnamon Roll, Rabanada, and Banana Cake with Dulce de Leite. “We also have extra sauce for each option, and for those opting for sweet appetizers or a smaller dessert, we have the Classic Cookie and Nutella Cookie,” says Patrícia.
