Discover the Secrets of Kveiks!

Join a Beer Chat with Joaquim Natal at Praia da Costa this holiday, September 7 How about enjoying the September 7 holiday by learning a bit more about craft beer brewing and discovering a new beer? Brewer Joaquim Natal will lead the Beer Chat: Discover the Secrets of Kveiks! next Wednesday, the 7th, at Loveland Pub Praia da Costa, starting at 1:30 PM. For craft beer lovers, he will talk a bit about Kveiks and the Luminosa hop, which has just arrived in Brazil - both of which are part of his new creation, a Session IPA that will be presented exclusively at the event. "The Luminosa hop has bright and fresh fruit flavors that inspired its name, and it consists of peach-mango lemonade, candied orange peels, blackberry, papaya, and guava, creating a flavor that reminds us of tropicalism," explains the brewer. The launch is a result of the Flavor Project in partnership with the University of Oregon. The Kveik yeasts get their name from an ancient European tradition that still persists today in countries like Finland, Estonia, Norway, and Lithuania, where farmhouse ales are produced on small family farms by local farmers. "For years, these yeasts have been selected based on the brewing practices used on the farms and, consequently, domesticated through use. Thus, they have developed very particular characteristics that are not found in other common ale yeasts," explains Natal. And he will share the rest in this chat, where everyone is invited to learn a bit about the history of craft beer and the exclusive Session IPA and its ingredients. "Take some yeasts home and participate in the Exclusive Launch of a Session IPA, made with Kveiks and the Luminosa hop, which has just arrived in Brazil," invites the brewer.
