In reference to Yellow September, a month dedicated to raising awareness about suicide prevention and valuing life, Grau Técnico has prepared a special program at its units in Cariacica and Vila Velha. The initiatives aim to promote information, support, and dialogue about emotional health, bringing students, professionals, and the community closer to a topic that deserves attention throughout the year.

The program will start on next Wednesday (23), at 7 PM, with a special lecture given by nurse Renan Santos Nunes. The meeting will be open to all classes, with special attention to students from the Administration courses, and will address topics related to emotional health, suicide prevention, and valuing life.

The proposal is to stimulate reflection on situations that can impact emotional health in daily life, including issues present in the workplace and institutions, as well as reinforcing the importance of listening, support, and seeking help when necessary.

On Saturday (26), starting at 7 AM, Grau Técnico Cariacica will hold the 1st Life Prevention Walk at the Nova Orla de Cariacica. The event will bring together students, instructors, and collaborators for a morning of awareness and mobilization around the appreciation of life.

With open participation to the public, the walk aims to also involve residents and other community members, creating a space of unity and solidarity around the Yellow September campaign.

More than just a one-time program, the actions reinforce the importance of expanding dialogue about emotional health and prevention, encouraging the creation of environments that are more attentive to people's needs.
