11-year-old Enzo Pádua Cimini shows that the passion for collecting cards knows no age

It is a misconception that collecting is only for older people. Today, children and teenagers also dedicate themselves to this practice, and one example of this is Enzo Pádua Cimini. At just 11 years old, Enzo already has a collection of over 2,500 Pokémon cards, some valued at over 500 reais. His interest in collecting was inspired by his father, Lelio Cimini, a businessman and one of the organizers of the 9th National Multicollecting Meeting, which takes place on May 31, June 1, and 2, at the Century Plaza Hotel in Jardim da Penha. Lelio Cimini, a long-time collector, expresses pride in his son. "Collecting transcends generations. Some may be mistaken that collecting is an old thing," says Lelio. He sees in Enzo not only a passionate collector but also a young entrepreneur in the making, as Enzo does not limit himself to collecting his cards but also sells them, demonstrating entrepreneurial skills from an early age. The 9th National Multicollecting Meeting, an event where Lelio is one of the organizers, is a way to celebrate diversity and passion for collecting, bringing together people of all ages. Enzo, with his vast collection of Pokémon cards, is a young highlight at the event, showing that this passion can start early and develop throughout life. "Seeing my son follow in my footsteps and even create his own path in the world of collecting is extremely rewarding," says Lelio. Enzo exemplifies the new generation of collectors who, in addition to appreciating their collections, see them as a business opportunity. The Pokémon cards he collects and sells are more than just pieces of paper; they are investments and parts of a culture that connects people around the world. "It's exciting to see how something that started as a hobby can turn into an activity that involves strategy, knowledge, and even economics," comments Lelio. Little Enzo will accompany his father Lelio Cimini at the National Multicollecting Meeting. He is living proof that collecting can be both a childhood passion and a serious endeavor, capable of teaching valuable lessons about value, dedication, and continuity.
