Due to the current situation and the importance of social isolation, some capixaba groups are already planning to launch their samba enredos in 'lives' that will be broadcast live to the community and samba lovers.
On July 5th, starting at 12:30 PM, the Escola de Samba Andaraí will hold its live "Andaraí Em Casa" on its YouTube channel, Andaraí TV.
"This day will be marked not only by the launch of our samba enredo for the Carnival of Vitória 2021, but also by a lot of help and care for others, as our live will be charitable and will aim to collect food and cleaning supplies for those who are going through difficulties, especially in this scenario," says the president of the Escola de Samba, Thiago Bandeira Silva.
For the president of the Independent League of Special Group Samba Schools (LIESGE), Edvaldo Teixeira, "the trend is that other schools will also present their samba this way, as has already been done by MUG," Teixeira states. "We cannot stop; we are working hard for the realization of the Carnival of Vitória 2021," he adds.
