There is a contestant from Espírito Santo in the 7th edition of the Music Professionals Award, and the public can already vote for their favorites until September 29. This year, there are 1,363 pre-selected nominees in 165 award categories, scheduled to take place in Brasília in April 2023.
The Formemus has been nominated once again. In 2021, the conference was the big winner in the Music Fairs and Conferences category. The Marien Calixte Jazz Music Festival has also been nominated this year in the Instrumental Festivals category. The third edition of the event is already scheduled to take place on November 19 and 20 at Parque Casa do Governador in Vila Velha.
In addition to the two projects from MM Projetos Culturais, produced by Simone Marçal and Daniel Morelo (in the photo with Trio Suindara), other contestants from Espírito Santo have been recognized in the nominations for the Music Professionals Award. Mauricio Tagliari and Gustavo Macacko are nominated in the Author (Southeast) category. Macacko is also competing in the Southeast Music Video category for “Blues Axé Nagô.” Douglas Lopes is competing in the Singer (Southeast) category; Eduardo Lucas in the Conductor; Duo Severino (MPB Southeast and Southeast Music Video for “Ainda é Carnaval”); Tiago Casadei could win for Best Mixing Engineer, and Casadei Music studio for Best Mastering Studio.
