Baldness is one of the most common complaints among men. It is estimated to affect over 42 million Brazilians, according to data from the Brazilian Society of Hair. The problem is largely linked to genetic factors, but good habits can make a difference. The trichologist and hair therapist Camila Zanoni explains that early diagnosis is essential. "The famous 'receding hairlines' are the first sign of baldness among men. The strands also become thinner," she emphasized.
In these cases, hair treatment can stop or slow down the progression of baldness. "The most recommended approach is to have a follow-up that includes a hair therapist and a dermatologist. In addition to the use of medications, some lotions and techniques can assist in this process," she added.
