White hair is trending due to quarantine, but many women entering their senior years still love a good dye job and beautiful hair treatments. According to natural hair therapist Paula Breder, what matters is that women feel good and take care of their hair. "White hair grows with a different texture due to a deficiency of proteins, so a deeper treatment that replenishes some nutrients and cuts that favor the treatments is worth it," says Paula.

In old age, in addition to losing color, hair suffers from hormonal changes and loss of volume, and many find themselves forced to change the hairstyle they have been accustomed to for years. "Seeking a professional is essential; today we work with many products that enhance hair nutrition, such as finishers and treatment masks with natural products," Paula explains.

According to dermatologist Karina Mazzini, in addition to age, one of the factors that causes hair to turn white is stress. "The cells responsible for hair pigmentation are affected by exhaustion and daily anxiety," she states. Besides daily care, if a person feels the need for a more specific hair treatment, they can consult a dermatologist.

Regarding the beauty and vanity of hair, natural hair therapist Paula Breder says that when it comes to dyes, the tip is good lighting with highlights that blend with the white hair, and to invest in honey and light brown tones that are also trending in 2020. As for cuts, medium lengths that add volume are the most recommended, but for those who like to maintain length, no problem; let's invest in treatment and keep the hair healthy," she concludes.

Natural Hair Therapist, Paula Breder is the creator of the philosophy and products that bear her name. Mentor of the first naturalist space in the state, a woman of color, Paula straightened her hair - as most black women did - with all the options on the market, when after 25 years, she decided to discover the true texture of her hair. Thus, after much study, she became self-taught in phytotherapy and created beauty products for hair, such as shampoos, hair masks, gel, hair serum, sanitizer, among others. With this work, she began to influence other women through her own stance. Today she runs Paula Breder Fitocosméticos do Brasil, and her philosophy is spread throughout Brazil, with two locations in Greater Vitória, one in Vitória and another in Vila Velha.
