Hairdresser promotes 30 days of action for Pink October

Dirceu Paigel launches the third edition of the You Are Unique Project with social media actions, a photo exhibition, and encouragement for hair donations in partnership with Multivix With the start of another edition of Pink October, the hairdresser and reference in wigs and hair extensions, Dirceu Paigel, begins the promotion of 30 days of action in support of the awareness and fight against breast cancer campaign, in partnership with the Women's Education and Cancer Combat Association (Afecc). This is a reformulation of the You Are Unique Project, with updated safety protocols due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the launch of a unique contest on social media starting on October 1st. This year, patients nominated by Afecc and a digital influencer will participate. "In this atypical year, it is essential to maintain actions that empower women undergoing oncological treatment, and for that, we updated the project with new health and safety protocols to welcome participants on a special beauty day and photo shoot. Additionally, on social media, we will invest in valuing the stories of women, highlighting the strength and determination of each one of them through the You Are Unique contest," emphasizes the hairdresser, who has been doing social work at the Evangelical Hospital of Vila Velha, Afecc, and the Laço Rosa Foundation in Rio de Janeiro for over 15 years, producing and delivering wigs for women undergoing cancer treatment who cannot afford to buy one. In addition to the You Are Unique actions that will permeate the entire month of October with a contest and photo exhibition on October 20th, Dirceu also participates in the Rapunzel Project, developed by medical students from Multivix College, which encourages hair donations for making wigs for oncology patients. Haircuts for donation can be performed between October 19th and 24th. Volunteers can choose between a 50% discount on salon services or receive a hydration treatment.
