The artist Rodrigo CX launches an unprecedented project that fuses Bossa Nova and Reggae on tour in Brazil and abroad

  Have you ever imagined what it would be like to mix Reggae with Bossa Nova? Rodrigo CX not only imagined it but also united the two rhythms in an unprecedented project. The contagious energy that combines the traditional chords of Bossa Nova with the swing of Reggae is the highlight of Rodrigo CX's new tour. "Bossa-Reggae" emerges as an innovative project by bringing an original sound to Brazilian popular music. Soon, the "Bossa-Reggae" tour will take place not only in Espírito Santo but also in other states of Brazil, as well as in other countries. "Bossa-Reggae" is the continuation of Rodrigo CX's pioneering work, who throughout his career has also dedicated himself to the study and merging of new rhythms. Since 1996, the artist has been engaged in numerous research and studies on the fusion of rhythms. In 2020, the singer released the first version of "Bossa-Reggae". From then on, the artist began to study the historical characteristics of each rhythm, as well as the different dynamics and metrics of the melodies, styles, and techniques of the two musical styles until arriving at the new project called Bossa-Reggae.
