Capixaba experts reveal beauty news and trends at a Congress held in Paris
After an immersion of knowledge in Paris at the IMCAS Congress for health and aesthetics professionals in the last week of January, the young and skilled capixaba specialists Géssica Cabral and Raquel Cabral returned to Brazil with many novelties, learnings, techniques, and trends.
And speaking of trends, naturalness is on the rise in 2023. The professionals explain that when it comes to facial and body harmonization, the amount of filler should be reduced and combined with collagen biostimulators. "The diagnosis needs to be careful, observing the characteristics of each patient. Each skin is unique. This is a basic principle that can never be neglected. A managed aging process provides us with natural, beautiful, and elegant skin. Combined therapies such as peels + biostimulators + focused ultrasound + radiofrequency are the secret to naturalness," explains Raquel Cabral, a dentist specialized in aesthetic dentistry.
The specialists also addressed the focus on body care at the Congress. The face has always been in the spotlight, but body procedures are gaining more and more space, with the gluteus being the main focus. Brazil, being a tropical country where people are much more exposed to the sun, has highlighted this attention to the body. "When we talked about aesthetic treatments, we always sought facial treatments; however, there has been a shift in thinking, where there is now a demand for both facial and body treatments. The trend now is not only for the face but also for body treatments with high technology and excellent results," emphasizes Géssica Cabral.
And there's a spoiler coming. Soon, a new botulinum toxin will arrive in Brazil. Géssica Cabral mentions that the difference is the durability, which promises to be longer for muscle paralysis, around 8 months with a single application.
