The live event will discuss the professionalization of this market

The Council of Architecture and Urbanism of Espírito Santo (CAU/ES) is promoting a virtual event on November 3rd, in partnership with the Espírito Santo startup Elas Resolvem, which provides visibility to women in the service market.

The live event “Entrepreneurial Architects – Professionalization of the Service Market” will start at 7 PM and will be broadcast live on the Instagram accounts of both institutions. It will discuss various topics related to the professionalization of the service market for architects, such as entrepreneurship, pricing, quality criteria, among others.

Participants include federal councilor of CAU/BR, Giedre Ezer, and the CEO of the startup, lawyer Jéssica Galvani. “Currently, 73% of the total registered architects are women, who mostly work as independent professionals, and we notice the difficulty of integrating women architects into the job market,” says the councilor. The initiative of the event aims to promote a debate on pathways for professionalization and increasing the participation of these architects in the construction market,” points out Giedre.

The CEO of the startup, Jéssica Galvani, shares that she has many architect and urban planner students in her training courses. “We receive these professionals who talk about the market and are seeking greater professionalization to improve service delivery,” she states.
