SPFW has already given a taste of what’s to come in summer 2022 regarding makeup. Shine and colors are back in the hottest and most colorful season in the country. On the runways, it was possible to observe 3D and colorful eyeliners, gloss on the lips, and blush in evidence. “With the return of in-person events, everyone wants to look well-made up,” says makeup specialist Heyd Tex.
The sun that shines in summer reminds us of light, and the highlight in makeup will be strong, but on fresher skins. “The highlight will complement a more natural makeup, with a shine on the lips, a light eyeshadow, with a lot of lightness,” explains Tex.
“For party and event looks, eyeliner always appears, and this time it can make the eyes well-defined, be inverted (with the line more prominent below the eye) and even in colors, after all, joy is in the air, at the beach, at happy hour,” says Heyd.
On the lips, in addition to the wet shine, there will be room for the red lipstick that everyone loves and that enhances any look. According to Heyd, “everyone wants to have a bold lip, wants to highlight it in makeup,” he explains. “We also saw that blush will have more space in makeup, with expression, after all, everyone misses a beautiful complete makeup, on the whole face without the mask,” says the makeup artist.
