Today, starting at 6 PM, the Grau Técnico Cariacica school will hold an important health event at Shopping Moxuara, in support of the Yellow September campaign for suicide prevention and the Red September campaign focused on the prevention of cardiovascular diseases. The activity aims to raise awareness among the population about the importance of caring for mental and cardiovascular health.
During the event, students from the Nursing class, under the guidance of instructor Giovanna Costa, will distribute informative pamphlets and offer a counseling space dedicated to emotional support for those in need. Additionally, a station will be set up in front of the food court where blood pressure measurements and blood glucose tests will be conducted, reinforcing the importance of prevention and monitoring of cardiovascular diseases.
The event is open to the public and free of charge, providing visitors to Shopping Moxuara with the opportunity to learn about suicide prevention and heart diseases, as well as receive guidance on preventive care, demonstrating the relevance of maintaining balanced and monitored health.
