With the progress of vaccination, activities gradually resumed. As a result, new events emerged, salons became busy again, productions were made for outings, and everything is returning to its rightful place, still with restrictions in place.According to hair stylist Heyd Tex, who runs the Camarim Tex salon located in Jardim Camburi-Vitória, requests for hair and makeup are booming after two years of inactivity, and he states that the salon is ready to welcome them. “Since events and programs returned, the preparations to feel more beautiful have not stopped,” says the businessman.
According to research, beauty salons have seen an increase in demand and rising costs due to the two-year hiatus, making the challenge even greater. “For a business that takes care of appearance and self-esteem, we lost revenue of up to 57%, and now we need to return to where we left off,” he concludes.With the return of events, there is a considerable improvement in movement, and what was previously considered just simple work, like coloring and straightening, now has more requests for hairstyles and makeup for going out at night.
