Beach Tennis Tournament in Cariacica Runs Until Sunday at Shopping Moxuara

  II Vitória Esportes Beach Tennis Tournament, promoted by Smash Beach Tennis features three categories: beginner, intermediate, and advanced   Beach tennis athletes will be in action during the four days of the II Vitória Esportes Beach Tennis Tournament, promoted by Smash Beach Tennis, in the parking lot of Shopping Moxuara, on October 5, 6, 7, and 8, with an extensive program for athletes at beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels, involving both internal and external students from the sports complex.   According to the event's creator, Fábio Borém, the tournament's modalities will be divided into three categories: B, C, and D (male, female, and mixed). This division is based on the athlete's technical level; that is, more advanced players register in category B, intermediates in C, and beginners in category D. The opening will feature the Teens and Kids group on Thursday (5th), from 5 PM to 9 PM.   "The idea of the tournament is to seek more publicity and integration into sports, specifically Beach Tennis, as it is not only an enjoyable sport with a beach-like atmosphere, but athletes also have the opportunity to share the practice of the sport with their entire family, regardless of age and gender."   The competitions will begin on Friday, October 6, from 6 PM to 10:30 PM, with mixed categories (B, C, and D) for adult athletes, both internal and external. On the 7th and 8th, the competition will be for the male and female categories of the adult audience, with internal and external participants, from 7 AM to 6 PM.   According to Fábio Borém, the awards will include medals for the champions and runners-up, and there will also be giveaways for the winners, athlete kits, and a fruit table for all participants in the tournament. "The expectation for the second edition of the event is approximately 150 registered athletes and a daily audience of around 200 people," says Fábio.   The structure is already set up, with tents around the courts providing seating for all athletes and visitors. There will also be tastings of functional products from local suppliers. As part of the activities, a health professional will speak about breast cancer prevention in support of 'Pink October,' providing guidance on early detection, nutrition, and healthy practices.   For the marketing manager of Shopping Moxuara, Janaina Barroso, it is gratifying to host the tournament at the venue. "The first Beach Tennis complex installed in a shopping mall in the state!
