Vitória hosts the national tour of the 25th anniversary of the play ‘Hermanoteu na Terra de Godah - Os Melhores do Mundo’

The show takes place on October 14, at the Vitória Convention Center

Hermanoteu na Terra de Godah, the best-known play by the Comedy Company Os Melhores do Mundo, celebrates 25 years with a national tour across Brazil, and Vitória will not be left out of the route. The play arrives on October 14, at the Vitória Convention Center, with a session at 8 PM. When the scene of Hermanoteu and Isaac at the gates of Egypt, announcing the universally known moment when Moses parts the Red Sea, went viral on the internet, the comedy was in high demand from audiences all over Brazil, presented in Portugal and the USA, and replicated dozens of times by amateur productions throughout the country and abroad. Created in 1995, revered by the public and still extremely relevant, this unpretentious satire of old films about the Old Testament uses notorious facts and historical characters to humorously reflect on our daily reality. On stage, the company proudly features the luxurious and entertaining participation of Chico Anysio, who plays God with off-screen texts. About Os Melhores do Mundo Os Melhores do Mundo have influenced the formation of various artists and theater groups across Brazil and have notably established an unprecedented reference career in the history of humor theater in the country.
